Job Responsibilities:
REA (www.r-e-a.com), established in 1981, is the industry leader in providing global career transition and acclimation assistance for the spouses/partners of relocating employees in the U.S. and worldwide.
We are looking for an Account Manager to assist in strengthening our partner relationships and exploring opportunities to expand our domestic and international client base. Key areas of focus will be in business development support, business reporting, trend analysis, and training and development of partner service delivery programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Service existing customers, seek out opportunities for new business with existing accounts, and understand REA’s company business processes and service offerings to effectively target potential opportunities/clients and strategies for expanding market penetration
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with global partners and service partners (relocation companies, other affiliates referring business)
Create and analyze business reports for clients and partners to provide data on service activity as well as trends that could indicate opportunities for REA to provide additional services and for clients to better serve their population of relocating employees
Respond to service inquiries from clients and partners and troubleshoot business issues as they arise
Respond to requests for information/presentations from client prospects/third parties
Support educational training to our RMC’s (relocation mobility corporations) key account management teams
Ongoing communication and collaboration with Business Development Leadership, Intake Sales Team and REA management to keep a pulse on what clients/customers want/need
Assist with RFP’s
Collaborate with Operations and Business Development to initiate improvements or changes in the way we service all clients based on client feedback, analysis of client operations or changing client needs
Work cooperatively with Business Development and Operations to ensure that new accounts are properly managed and serviced
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience, preferably in client services/account management
Personal or professional experience with relocation or the global mobility industry a plus; related experience will be considered
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent account management experience is required
Strong project management, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills
Possess ability to sustain strong client relationships and meet/manage time sensitive deadlines
Analytically minded and comfortable with data metrics and research analysis
Strong troubleshooting and ability to assess and offer viable solutions
Keep senior management briefed on account management activity, RFP proposals, presentations or other projects
Foster positive team building and communication internally and externally
Represent REA at industry conferences, events, networking or speaking/presentation engagements
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel; and use of CRM data management software
The ideal candidate will have a strong client services focus, excellent communication skills and be relationship driven, analytical, detail oriented, well organized and accustomed to working in a remote role with team collaboration. Flexibility and adaptability are essential. Understanding of the global relocation industry a plus.
